Astrosky Eliminator Tripod? Experiences?

Has anybody out there had any experience with these tripods? I am thinking of getting one to use with a CG5 mount with either a C8 or a 120mm refractor. How much of a stability increase can I expect compared to the stock aluminum CG5 tripod or the wood Vixen SP tripod I currently use.

I think the CGE dovetail is comparable to the Losmandy G11 one. Losmandy sells a conversion thingy (technical term) to use G11 plates in a GM8. Anacortes will have them.

Dave, in what way do you mean "rather interesting"?

2" Diagonal for C8 (Help)

You can get a 2" visual back that will screw on to your C-8 and allow you to slide in your Everbright. I know AP sells one, some poster on another forum said they were $40. I think.
