I have a stellarvue 80/9D and it does not have the model number on the lens.
I looked at several that were sold and most do not have the model number on the lens but on a plate with the serial number towards the back of the scope.
any reason for thjis?

I thought I read the the glass was FLP-51 and not FLP-53. IS there that much difference.
Just wondering because I read that someone said the equinox 120mm and the eon 120 use the same glass-FPL-53
