Newbie here, I have attached a picture of my mount. I received a Galileo 114x900 reflector scope (no longer in business) from a friend and have been starting to do some observing and lunar imaging I would like to fit my mount with motor drives for tracking Can some one help me with some info, I have no idea where to even begin

What's wrong with this?

I took this image last night (1-7-13) can I get some feedback on what is wrong with it? I can't seem to get pinpoiint stars no mater how hard I try to get into focus. I have a C8, with focal reducer (6.3) a Meade zero image focuser and a DSI Pro II mono camera. Please help, I am new to this and learning. sad

Filter on flip mirror

I have to use a flip mirror with my DSI on a 80mm to do so I have to remove nosepiece from DSI and screw into flip, my issue is that the UV/IR filter I use cannot screw into threads on opposite end of flip mirror. Does anyone know if I need a adapter to fit it it is a Baader 1 1/4" filter I am wondering if diameter is 49mm and the flip is 48mm. Please help cwy

grin Well, step 1 is done, I have purchased a ASGT CG5 Mount Should be arriving soon, next up is a Celestron c8 OTA (plus ring mounting hardware) the a Meade DSI II or III mono is being searched for!
