Greetings-

I have a used Sky-Tee mount and one side of each slow-motion shaft is bent from an impact to the knobs. There is also excessive movement of the Alt slow motion shaft, wherein the shaft moves lengthwise about 0.02", which equates to maybe 2 degrees of free play in the Alt axis of the mount. The gear mesh feels proper, it is the shaft movement I need to address. I'm pretty sure I can straighten the shafts satisfactorily, and as long as nothing is too severely damaged, adjust the free play.

Is there a schematic available or can anyone give me some detailed experience taking apart the shaft/gear mechanism so I don't re-invent the wheel or chase tiny parts that fling out when I open it up?

Any recommendations on a good quality observing chair? My only real criteria is it fold flat without any mechanical disassembly (i.e. no nuts or bolts or threaded fasteners to deal with)
