I have a Celestron SP-C6 Newtonian which I an trying to mount a DSLR camera to. I purchased a Celestron T adapter and ring for my Nikon D5100 camers. The problem is, the tube is too long. To focus, the camera needs to sit almost right on top of the telescope tube. Is there an adapter that I can purchase that is short enough? Thanks in advance. I'm a real newbie!
