Hello, everyone

allow me to share with you one image captured on December 1st of this magnificent sky event :-)

Besides the main Trio, there is another one also visible in this image: Ganymede, Io and Callisto (left to right), dancing around Jupiter.

Dear Tan:

while checking your remarkable Mars pictures, I noticed that you are from Singapore... please tell me, are there any good astroshops in Singapore? A friend of mine is going over there and so maybe I can ask him to bring along some new equipment...

Thanks! Any web address would be highly appreciated.

Roland,
would you say your conclusions are also valid when shooting at lower resolution - for example, with AP160 and STL11K @ 1.46"/pixel?

I have been using unbinned "Luminance" and "RGBs" for all my recent images... mainly because, being lazy, I can get away with less Darks and Bias frames.

Maybe I am doing the right thing, but for the wrong reasons? :-)
