I am looking for ideas for outfitting my Dome
with a Lanphier Window. Are there any sources
for the glass or plexiglass that would have good
qualities for at least visual observing ?

I can't comment on the NS11 but I recently purchased a used
U11 PEC and this telescope on a pier has performed beyond my expectations for CCD imaging. This was an upgrade from the Ultima 8 PEC and this scope out performs the Ultima 8 PEC.

Now however... the U11 is much less stable on a tripod and I now understand why there is a general opinion that the U11 is not stable enough for photography.

If I was a first time buyer or was not planning on photography or building and observatory I would purchase the N11.
