Wow Tyler!! That's a great shot. I played with the small
jpeg a little bit to increase the dynamic range... so the
original should process out great. With all your super
images you should publish a book. I know I'd buy it.

Kestrel Photos - My Best

Great stuff Tyler...as always. Its hard to improve on prefection, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Since I
have never seen a Kestrel, I don't know if my color correction is accurate or even if the sky was this blue.
I have found that nature is more easily color corrected than people however. I like to process my images as they
appear to the naked eye and keep it as true as possible.
Opps!! I loaded the wrong image.

Thank you very much...I was sure it was a duck and never thought to look in the marsh bird section. I hope I can get
back out to the lake in the morning for some better shots with my scope. The above pictures are full resolution crops.

I'd rather be lucky than good...lucky shots are always the best. I'd sell my wife for a shot like that. (well not
really, but almost)I hope you will not mind my attempt at fixing the exposure. It isn't a perfect fix but all great
images deserve to look their best. Even the accidential ones.
