AP 130 f/6 waiting list

Hi,

Would it be possible to trade places on the waiting list for an AP 130 f/6 with my place on the waiting list for a Traveler? Or do I have to put my name on the waiting list again for the AP 130 f/6? Or should I wait until I get my Traveler and see if someone wants to trade on AstroMart?

About four years ago I found out that you are not able to trade your spot on one list for your spot on another. I was on the Traveler list. I found a Traveler on Astromart and bought it. I thought when my turn came up on "the list" that I could buy a 6 inch AP. When I was notified about the chance to buy a Traveler I naively asked to buy a 6 inch instead. No luck. The only way to get on the 130f6 list is to put your name on that list. While waiting to get your Traveler and then seeing if someone wants to trade is an option, you could certainly consider purchasing a 130f6 that comes up on Astromart before your name comes up for the Traveler. It seems that they (AP 130f6)are listed here with some regularity.
