Dear Ciao,
I just recently purchased an Ap 130mm EDFS I have old Naglers From Japan the 4.8 7, 20mm type 2 and a .965 microscopic eps and a Leitz 24mm periplan eps from a microscope. The eps is valued $600.00-800.00. I've owned a tak 102fs, fc-76, and pronto w/ the same eps's W/ the previous scopes, I didn't notice as much chromatic abberation w/ the eps. On the Ap 130 I seem to notice more color abberations toward the edge of the fields for example on the 5'oclock sid might show a blue/purple and on the 11 o'clock side I'll see the red shift of the object. This only happens on the Leitz lens which leads me to believe that if you put the lens slightly offaxis ( the barrel is 1.1 to 1.2 ") you will see color abberations. I thought I may have seen it in the 20mm but I think I might be able to attribute it to humitity and atmospheric densities here in AL. Just like you see in the color change w/ the setting sun. Maybe now, you just have a really good eyepiece testor
