Hi all,
I have been aligning a Celestron SC, but seem to have a problem somehow. I know how to align it, but if you look carefully to the enclosed image, you see the white spec of light in the center of the hole is not really in the center of the hole where it belongs. Still, the circles are concentric. If I put the spec of light in the center of the dark hole, the surrounding circles are NOT concentric anymore. Could this be that the secondary is not placed in the center of the corrector plate? If so, how can I check this?
Thanks.
D.
