Killer scope once you learn how to handle the mechanics of it.
Talking about collimation, mirror shift, focus knob shift.....

I have one of recent vintage that is not bad. Optics are reasonably good but the mirror flop/shift is annoying and the one major problem. Have run bolts through rear cell and this helps but one has to be careful or one can change collimation. Use a JMI focuser for CCD work and it is a reasonable system.

I too have a C14, but 1976 vintage. I don't seem to have too big a problem with mirror shift with the focus knob since I replaced the grease with Dow Vacuume grease.

Here is a shot (M63) I took with it on 4/3/02 ST-8E 12x5 min @f12
