Dec kit for LX100

I am in need of a dec motor kit for my LX100 and was wondering if the dec drive for the LX50 would work. Also is the motor just a dc motor, I was thinking if I bought the dec fix kit "gears" and came up with a dc motor maybe I could make something work. Unless somebody has the dec drive for sale?

Thanks Shawn
