DSI-C Intereference?

Hello,

I purchased a DSI for guiding a while back. I hooked it up to my laptop last night, and it looked rather unclear - static, almost like a TV signal gone wrong. This made it pretty hard to focus on stars etc. Just a very static~y image.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Could it be the cable?

Cheers,
Phil

Phil, Definitely try another cable.
Oh, is your computer USB2?

Start from the top

What program are you running?

I use PHD with the DSI-C, but had to tweek a couple of the setting for it to work well.

Clear Skies

It is what it is...

Hello Again,

Okay, I tried buying a new cable, but still see the issue. I have messed around with different settings but still see the interference. I attached a screenshot.

Any other ideas? Trash the camera? (Bought it second-hand here in Amart)

Cheers,
Phil
