Does anyone with the new LX200GPS have any experiance with the Eye Opener II visual back and the Microfocuser? I'm awaiting my 14", which will have the microfocuser, 2" diagonal, and a 22mm Nagler (2"). Will the eyeopener II make a difference in this setup, or will/does the microfocuser channel it down to a 1-1/4" opening? Just want to make sure it's worth it before I go and buy one, but if it is worth it, I'd like to order it ahead of time so it's here when I get the new scope. Thanks!

I don't have an Eye Opener II yet, but have done my homework. Yes the Eye Opener II does work but only on lower power 2" eye-pieces (31mm Nagler, 35mm panoptic, 41mm panoptic, 55mm plossel, etc.) In fact I talked to Peter of Sky Division and he doesn't recommend the Eye Opener unless you have one of the listed eye-pieces. If you do decide to get an Eye Opener II it threads to the scope and the micro-focuser goes on to it with no problem. If you have a 2" diagonal it will have a 2" clear path all the way to the eye-piece.
