Check to be sure it is not turned off. Your hand box will allow you to turn it on and off. I think it is under SETUP. Since my LX200GPS is now permanently mounted I turned it off so that it doesn't go through the lengthy signal aquisition routine.

Try it outside, in a clear, open area if that is not what you are doing.
