Does any one know where I can buy a hall effect transistor/sensor?
It's on a Meade LX200GPS 8"

The bracket was probably made by Meade and then the sensor was attached to it. If you can separate it and get the part number of the attached Hall sensor, there are many sources for those (Digi-Key, Mouser Electronics, Newark Electronics, etc.). Another possibility is to see if Meade tech support will divulge the actual part number. If it's an obsolete part and they have no spares to sell, they might do that for you.
