I HAVE A STANDARD LX200 10" WITH A TELEVIEW 2" VISUAL BACK FOR USING 2" EYEPIECES. I HAVE BEEN CONSIDERING BUYING A NEW 8" LX200 GPS MODEL AND WAS WONDERING IF YOU CAN USE THE 2" VISUAL BACK ON IT. SINCE IT HAS THE NEW ELECTRIC FOCUS AND NO IMAGE SHIFT SYSTEM.
ANYBODY KNOW ABOUT THIS?
THANKS SDW

If you are using telvues version of the eyeopener, then you will not be able to use it on the 8". At least on the old meade 8" OTA's, you could not remove the visual back.

I have the same setup and it works fine on the new 10" GPS.
