I'm glad your pleased with the new scope! I'm considering the SC-8 AT in the near future, amoung others. I have to say I'm a "little" surprised about the gear mesh. I would think that is something that would have been easily caught at the factory. It makes me worry that something else got through QC, too. I guess it just reinforces that it is always a good idea to give the new equipment a good "going over" before use. Anyways, have fun with the new scope and I look forward to reading your updates.
