Just to add an up note. I had my LX200 serviced at Meade after it was damaged by the shipping company. The scope is better than new including a refinished paint job on the tube and was done just as the folks at Meade said it would be. It was finished in on time and shipped back inside the three week time quoted. The only thing is to remove anything you do not wish to have replaced as the Bob's knobs did not come back with it. Sigh. Considering the amount of damage and the refinished tube I can live with this
