Can any one tell me what the measurement is between the uprights to which the tilt plate fits?

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I measured the wedge from my 10" SCT which is pretty old.
From the top of the wedge (inside dimension) to the top radius is 6 inches. From the same top of the plate to the pivot screw is between 5 1/8 to 5 1/4 inches (hard to get exact).
The inside dimension between the uprights is 8 1/2 inches.
So again, I don't know if this is what you're looking for but I hope it helps. Joe
