When using the Gibraltar eyepiece caddy to hold eyepieces on cool evenings, I often find them dewed up when I change eyepieces. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, have you found a way to keep eyepieces "dew-free" when they're not in use?

I keep mine in a case. However, seems like you could just throw a hand towel over them, or if you want to get fancy choose the material of your choice to make a flap that attachs optionally to the caddy with Velcro. Covering them should delay the problem for a long while.

After a disastrously dewey night a year or so ago, where the tops of my EPs filled with water, I built a heated tray using an heating pad element. You can see the tray here...

Of course, you need to have 110V AC power to use the heating pad element, but the same thing could be done using the proper resistance Nichrome wire and 12VDC.
