This is a spectrum of Quasar 3C273 as compared to a spectrum of a local star, Theta Leonis. This dramatically shows the redshift of the Hydrogen Beta line in the spectrum. The image was taken through a Celestron 8 scope at f/6.3 using an SBIG ST-7 imager with a CFW-8 filter wheel holding a Rainbow Optics grating in the wheel. Image time: 30 minutes.
