I had been out all night with my daughter, Kristin, taking a group of astrophotos she submitted (and won a statewide high school contest) along with essays on the significance of astronomy to ancient cultures. As we were starting to pack up, the most glorious moonrise appeared. I quickly reattached the Pentax 6x7 to my Astro-Physics 155mm scope, and got off a few shots. It was a magical moment we will never forget.
