Description
I drove there at sunset. A wild Autumn storm had just cleared. The sea was in shadow from the remaining cloud cover and sun was peaking through a hole in the clouds just off frame to the right like a stage spotlight. As the clouds blew overhead you could watch the spotlight move over the landscape. I was set up on a tripod with the composition I wanted and just had to wait for the spot to come the lighthouse. A little planning and previsualization helped make this shot. Its all about the light.
