The Keyhole Nebula in Carina by HST (top image) The Keyhole Nebula in carina by the Meade 12 GPS at Mt campbell Observatory (bottom image) hmmm?...could you tell? :-) The Mt campbell image was originally done at only F4 (1200mm FL) so this is only a small part of the original LHaRGB image and given that it is an enlergement of a low quality jpeg this obviously results in reduced image quality :-( Cool huh? Amazing what ordinary people can do with a bit of off the shelf equipment and a little patience, even without a multi billion dollar orbiting space telescope......:-)
