As we were having very bad weather here in New Mexico, I only had about an hour in which to try and get an image on January 5 -2005, so I put my Canon EOS DSLR on my Takahashi Sky 90 II at f/4.5 and took a Quick 5 min. exposure with the ASA set to 800 to capture Comet Machholz. I used my ST-8 to guide on the comets nucleus through a Takahashi E-160 Hyperbolic Astrograph. I was only able to get this one single exposure before the weather closed in on me and it was converted from RAW to a JPEG for e-mail. No Dark frames.
