Description
The huge supernova remnant, Sharpless 2-240. Taken with Nikon 400mm lens, STL11K camera, Barr Associates 4nm filter, 13 hours exposure, 30 minute subframes. Finally enough integration time to get the impression of expanding shells of gas--like a giant complex soap bubble. Processing in Maxim.
