This is actually two photographs. Both were taken about 6 AM CST on 7 December, 2004. The pic of the moon and Jupiter is a 2-second exposure with an Eos 20-D, using a 135mm lens at f5.6. A second picture was taken with the limb framed and focused, and then stacked in Photoshop.
