Description
Sharpless 2-091 (Sh2-091), a supernova remnant, is near the right side of this medium field (3x5 degrees) that also contains other Sharpless objects (Sh2-093 and Sh2-095 are in the upper left). Probably all are part of the same SNR much as are the components of the Veil Nebula complex. Unlike the Veil, here the faint filaments are in a dense star field, reducing their contrast. Nikon 400mm lens, 12 hours exposure, one hour subframes.
