Description
The rarely imaged Sh2-261, also known as Lowers nebula, in the upper left (also cataloged as LBN 862, 863 & 864). Three large patches of nebulosity spanning the center, with the cluster NGC2169 in the center of the top one. The field also contains Sh2-267, Sh2-268, and Sh2-269. Nikon 400mm, STL11K camera, Barr Associates 4nm H-a filter, 4 hours exposure.
