Description
This image was taken in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. There is no place on Earth like it with an abundance and variety of life on land unparalleled due to the convergence of major and minor ocean currents. Galapagos visitors are mostly enjoying the splendors on land and roughly ten percent actually see the real diversity the islands have to offer by diving in those unusual currents. Compared to underwater the land is an empty desert. The ocean life is diverse and so plentiful in comparison.
