This was a bear to process. Because I havent yet received my FlatMaster lightbox, I have no flats as yet - so there was a humungous gradient to process out. I was playing around getting used to my new FSQ and focuser last night. Within my 1.5 hour tree-defined window, I took this image and processed a mosaic: The main frame was done with an ST-2000XM: - 20x10 second L, R, G, B shots, TAK FSQ-106 The detail for M42 and the Running Man Nebula came from the other DSI/DSI-Pro shots taken earlier, with a TV NP-127. M42: M42 luminance with the DSI-Pro, TV NP-127: - 63x2.8 second exposures - 79x5 second exposures - 68x15 second exposures - 63x30 second exposures - 51x1 minute exposures M42 color information was taken with a Meade DSI-C, TV NP-127: - 70x15 seconds subs combined with 61x42 second subs. Unguided shots. Running Man, with the Meade DSI-Pro & TV NP-127: - L 34x60 seconds - R 34x60 seconds - G 30x60 Seconds - B 30x60 seconds Processed in: - CCDStack - Registar (for multi-image alignment) - PS-CS I know, a kludge, but came out OK for the moment. ...Neil
