Description
The Rosette nebula, seemingly struck by lightning. Nikon 400mm, STL11K camera, Barr Associates 4nm H alpha filter. 12 one hour subframes. Processing in Maxim, with log stretch and unsharp mask to emphasize the long, thin filaments.
