This shot of M-51 was taken on 3-7-06 from my backyard observatory in Vernon Connecticut. It is a stack of 16 images taken with a Televue Genesis SDF with a SBIG ST-7ME camera and CFW8-A color filter wheel. image times were 5m LR+G and 8m Blue. Processed and stacked with CCD soft and finished with photoshop
