Description
White-crowned Sparrows are winter visitors to coastal California. They leave in the spring and breed in the Sierras and northern climes. Most US citizens have similar [i]Zonatrichia[/i] sparrows in their areas - White-throated Sparrows on the east coast, Harris Sparrows in the midwest, and Golden-crowned Sparrows in the northwest.
