One of my favourite out-of-the-way places is a little bay near our cottage in the Muskokas where I can approach such wildlife as this loon. A pair of loons was very curiously watching me while I was observing them. They stayed with me quite a while and swam so close I was at minimum focus with my 300mm lens.
