Since my Fuji doesnt support cable release, as do all point-and-shoot digicameras, I had to resort to continuous shooting mode and just hold it. It takes a sequence of 5 shots at 1/4 sec intervals. I got lucky even though it is double imaged. This lightning was unique. There wasnt extreme thunder as you might think there should be even though it was quite close. (maybe 3 kms) I have no idea why I didnt get knocked off my feet and was only exposed to a soft rumble.
