M110 It is remarkable that amateur telescopes can resolve stars in our nearest galactic neighbors! Note the dust and the center and the slightly bluish stars in the nucleus. These bluish stars do not indicate star formation, as most of the stars here are quite old. Instead the bluish center hints that stellar collisions are more frequent in the dense core.
