They say the proof is in the pudding so heres some pudding. This picture was taken through my new Lurie-Houghton Newtonian. Despite its fast f/4.5 focal ratio, it does not suffer from coma and yields pinpoint star images, edge to edge. Compare this to my previous picture taken with a standard Newtonian plus coma corrector. I am excited and elated that the scope performs as well as it was advertised to and cant wait to get some pictures under dry autumn skies.
