Description
Comet 17P/Holmes continues to surprise us. On the morning of November 8 between 3 and 4:30 PM, Comet 17P/Holmes displayed a short split tail. My image, overexposed to show the tail, burns out detail in the core, but shows the blue halo and ion trail. www.stardoctor.org
