Description
I was playing around with my Orion pictures in Registax and made a nice discovery. one of my images was a very short exposure. maybe 5 seconds or so. that image captured the trapezium nicely but very little nebulosity. When I stacked it with one of the other (45 second) images it cut down on the over exposure and clarified the Trapezium a great deal. so I stacked each of the 30 to 45 sec images with the single 5 second image. stacking only 2 images at a time. then I stacked all 6 of those sub frames to get the image here.
