We were sitting becalmed off Lummi Island checking out radio chatter about orcas when a pod decided our boat was party central. They were all around and UNDER the boat. One large male breached so close it almost brushed the gunnel - a chilling thing in a 25 foot boat. I spent most of the time with my shutter frozen and my jaw slack.
