Image taken with Astro-Physics 206mm f/8 and QSI 8300 camera on an A/P 1200 GTO mount. Location was Foresthill, CA, image was processed for micro detail and macro detail using MaxIm 4.61, Registar, and PS CS2. Total of 33 - 20 minute frames taken ... sharpest were processed for detail, then all were combined for depth. Note the tidal streamers surrounding some of the galaxies, also the many small galaxies in the background.
