Description
The "Blue Snowball" planetary nebula in the constellation Andromeda. Fifteen minute OIII (astrodon 5nm filters) subexposures were used to capture the rarely seen halo as well as a jet of uncertain origin, combined with short 1-3 minute LRGB subs for the core. Imaged with QSI 540 wsg and Meade DSI Pro II CCDs on Meade 10" LX200R at f/10. The image was cropped to highlight nebula detail.
