Description
SH2-240 supernova remnant. Hydrogen alpha image, 2.3 hours (8x20min) taken with FSQ-106ED (at 530mm native FL) and STL-11000M. I will most likely try again using the reducer to fit the entire object in the image and much longer exposure time needed to bring out the fine details and reduce noise. CCDAutoPilot, MaximDL, CCDStack, and Photoshop used for image acquisition and processing in November 2010.
