Well they say that luck favors the prepared and when you image nearly every day, well I guess even a blind squirrel will find a nut. This image was taken at 18:51:00 UT, within seconds of the maximum output of this fantastic CME. Today I was imaging AR1618 and AR1620 regions when I decided to go “Around the Horn” a baseball term I like to use referring to going around the sun. WHOOO! I shouted. Pamela who usually watches the GONG while I am busy under the tent imaging was busy talking to some people that had stopped by. She politely excused herself and rushed over to see the huge CME exhibited on my computer screen. These images scan 7minutes and 32 second of time. The images were taken with my Astro-Physics 152mm F8 and DayStar Quantum PE .5 Angstrom filter and Flea2 ccd video camera
