Equipment: refractor WO FLT98 triplet, focal reducer/flattener WO AFR-IV .8x, fl 494mm, F/5; mount Orion Sirius, main camera Canon EOS T1i modified; autoguided with Orion StarShoot Autoguider on an Astrotech 65EDQ Quadruplet. Exposure: prime focus, 1 hour integrtion (12 subs of 300 seconds ISO 800), 14 dark frames, 12 bias frames; calibrated in Image Plus 4.5, post-processed in Photoshop CS5 with Noiseware Pro plug-in. Time/Place: january 12-13 2012, 11:45pm to 12:45am, temperature 23º C, wind 10-15 nudos; during star party of APAA in Punta Chame, Panama. Comment: my first real picture of The Pleyades. The strong wind was a big issue and had to improvise a wind barrier with PVC pipe, tarps, ropes and rocks.
