Description
The Trifid Nebula, imaged through a 12" LX200R scope at 3420mm focal length, with 6.7 hours total exposure. STL11000 camera with FW-8 filter wheel and Custom Scientific LRGB filters, MOAG and RGH for off-axis guiding, AO-L adaptive optics. All on Paramount ME in Sirius 8' dome. Software includes CCDAutoPilot, MaximDL, TheSky Professional, FocusMax, CCDStack, and Photoshop. Taken over 6 nights in late May and early June 2013, at Sierra Skies Observatory in El Dorado Hills, CA.
