The mother of all globular clusters is Omega Centauri! It was first discovered by the old Greek Ptolemy in 150 A.D. It’s located in the Southern constellation of Centaurus at a distance of 16,000 light-years. It’s one of the view globular clusters visible to the naked eye and is almost as big as the full Moon.
